Jindal United Steel Limited (JUSL), a part of Jindal Stainless, has awarded Primetals Technologies a contract for the comprehensive upgrade of its hot-strip mill at the Jajpur facility in Odisha, India. The project, scheduled for completion by December 2026, is intended to enhance both production capacity and product quality for plate manufacturing.

Primetals Technologies Modernizes LD Converter (BOF) at voestalpine Donawitz
voestalpine Donawitz has started up its LD converter (BOF) No. 4 following a revamp carried out by Primetals Technologies. A new air-cooling system has significantly reduced the operating temperature of the trunnion ring and converter shell, resulting in longer equipment lifetime.
